Soon after the acquisition of Berlex by Bayer Healthcare Doug became the VP & GM for the entire Bayer Hospital Business in the US, successfully launching and promoting unique procedure-based products in hospitals and diagnostic facilities.

His significant management expertise transformed a “Reach & Frequency” Sales Force into an Account Based Selling Function making Betaseron® (Berlex’ MS Drug) the largest and most successful brand within the Berlex portfolio. He created unique Customer Facing teams developing the organization’s first Key Account Positions and turned around sales of a buy & bill product resulting in growth exceeding $500m.

Elise joins Grünenthal as the US Compliance Officer. She brings over 20 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare compliance and regulatory fields. Her background includes a unique blend of law firm, pharma and medical device consulting experience. She comes to Grünenthal from Johnson & Johnson, and has worked with companies such as Bayer, Schering (now MSD/Merck) and others, where she has developed and executed sound compliance programs, focusing on building awareness on the importance of an ethical corporate culture. With a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University and a master’s degree in Public Policy from The American University, she is admitted to the practice law in New Jersey.

Capri has over 29 years of successful leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical and Contract Sales fields and a proven track record of building strong customer relationships, leading projects from concept to execution and designing successful business strategies, among others. Her leadership skills and her outstanding performance in her previous positions have earned her more than a dozen district and regional awards given by her prior employers. Her most recent position was National Program Director at Syneos Health and prior to that she worked for Bayer Pharmaceuticals. She has a bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before joining Averitas Pharma, Natalie held several roles at Bayer Healthcare over the last 10 years includes sales, marketing, and business operations. Natalie started her career working for several advertising agencies in NY and brings over 10 years of account management and customers insights to deliver effective therapies to patients and physicians.
